Terms & Conditions of use.

Effective 12 May 2026 Last reviewed 12 May 2026 Jurisdiction Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Publisher H Solutions

These terms govern your use of the OdontoHamad applications and odontohamad.com — published by H Solutions for clinical reference. Please read them carefully before relying on the application for any clinical purpose.

§ 01

Acceptance of these terms.

By downloading, installing, opening, or otherwise using the OdontoHamad mobile application, watch application, web edition, or any related service published by H Solutions (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any documents incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and uninstall it from your devices.

The Service is intended for licensed dental practitioners, dental students under supervision, and other healthcare professionals. By using the Service you represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the professional capacity to interpret clinical reference material.

§ 02

What OdontoHamad is — and is not.

OdontoHamad is an evidence-based clinical reference for practising dentists. It consolidates peer-reviewed guidance — Little & Falace, AAE 2013, AAP 2017, ADA, AHA 2021, AAPD, FDA, drugs.com, and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties — into a single bilingual, chair-side resource available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS, and the web.

OdontoHamad is not:

  • a medical device, a diagnostic instrument, or a treatment-planning system;
  • a substitute for clinical examination, formal diagnosis, or professional judgment;
  • a real-time advice service or a tele-dentistry platform;
  • an electronic health record, a patient portal, or a billing system;
  • certified by any regulatory authority as a medical device, and we make no claim that it meets the regulatory requirements applicable to such devices.
§ 03

Clinical disclaimer.

Important The information presented in OdontoHamad is for general reference only and must be interpreted by a qualified clinician in the context of the individual patient. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, and the absence of information about a treatment, drug, or condition does not imply safety.

Clinical practice changes. Drug dosages, indications, contraindications, interactions, warnings, and recommendations are revised by the publishers of the source material on a frequent basis. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the Service current, we cannot guarantee that any specific item is up to date at the moment you consult it.

Before acting on any information in the Service, the practitioner must:

  1. verify the information against the latest published edition of the relevant primary source;
  2. confirm doses, contraindications and interactions in an authoritative pharmacology reference and against the dispensing label;
  3. exercise independent professional judgment in light of the patient's history, examination findings, and locally applicable standards of care.

The Service is not intended for use in life-threatening emergencies. The emergency reference cards inside the application are condensed memory aids; they do not replace formal training in basic and advanced life support. In Saudi Arabia the emergency number is 997.

§ 04

Privacy & patient data.

On-device only Patient information that you enter into My Note — patient name, file number, tooth selections, free-text notes, and attached photographs — is stored in the application's private container on the device that created it. It is not uploaded to any server, not synchronised between devices, and not visible to H Solutions.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require an account to use the Service.
  • We do not collect protected health information (PHI) or any data that would identify a patient.
  • We do not collect analytics that personally identify the user.

What may be stored on your device

  • Language preference, dark / light mode preference, and similar interface settings.
  • Notes and attachments you create in My Note — exclusively in the application's private storage.
  • System-level diagnostics (such as crash reports) that the operating system may transmit to its own vendor under that vendor's privacy policy.

Your responsibilities as a clinician

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of My Note complies with the patient-confidentiality obligations of your jurisdiction and your professional licensing body. Locking your device, using a strong passcode, and choosing whether to back up the device to a cloud service are your decisions and your responsibility.

Web edition

The web edition at odontohamad.com may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking on the site.

§ 05

Licence to use the apps.

Subject to your continued compliance with these terms, H Solutions grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the OdontoHamad applications on devices that you own or control, for your own clinical reference and continuing education.

The licence does not transfer ownership of the Service, its source code, its database, or any intellectual property to you. Apple Inc. and Google LLC distribute the applications under their own End User Licence Agreements; in case of conflict between those agreements and these terms in relation to a particular distribution channel, the relevant store agreement governs to the extent of that conflict.

§ 06

Acceptable use.

You agree that you will not, and will not authorise any third party to:

  • reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
  • copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Service or its content, except for ordinary fair-dealing quotations of short passages with attribution;
  • redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or its content;
  • use the Service to provide a competing product or comparable reference service;
  • upload, host, or transmit through the Service any content that infringes another party's rights, including patient information you are not lawfully entitled to record;
  • interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware or attempting unauthorised access;
  • remove or obscure any proprietary notice, attribution, or disclaimer within the Service.
§ 07

Intellectual property.

The OdontoHamad applications, web edition, brand, name, logos, design system, written content, illustrations, code, and database are owned by H Solutions and are protected by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and applicable international treaties.

The clinical references summarised inside the Service — including but not limited to Little & Falace, Dental Management of the Medically Compromised Patient (Elsevier); the American Association of Endodontists' 2013 guidelines on the avulsed permanent tooth; the AAP / EFP 2017 Classification of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases; the American Dental Association's caries-management framework; the AHA 2021 guidelines on antibiotic prophylaxis; the AAPD reference manual; the United States Food and Drug Administration's pregnancy category data; drugs.com drug-interaction database; and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties matching booklet — remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. We acknowledge these publishers and present only short, attributed summaries in keeping with fair-dealing principles.

Names and marks such as OdontoHamad, Hamad's Dental Management, and H Solutions are trademarks of H Solutions. Third-party trademarks appearing in the Service belong to their respective owners.

§ 08

Third-party content & links.

The Service contains references to, summaries of, and hyperlinks to third-party materials and websites — including the SCFHS official Matching Booklet (PDF), the OdontoHamad referral portal, and the publisher websites of the source guidelines. We do not control the third-party content and do not endorse, warrant, or accept responsibility for its accuracy, availability, or legality.

Your use of any third-party site, document, or service is subject to that party's own terms and conditions.

§ 09

Disclaimer of warranties.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, H Solutions disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • fitness for a particular purpose, including any specific clinical purpose;
  • merchantability or quality of any kind;
  • accuracy, completeness, currentness, or reliability of any clinical or pharmacological information;
  • uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation;
  • non-infringement of any third-party right.

No oral or written information or advice given by H Solutions or its representatives creates a warranty not expressly stated in these terms.

§ 10

Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H Solutions, its founders, employees, contractors, and content contributors shall not be liable for any:

  • direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages;
  • loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity;
  • clinical outcome, complication, or alleged injury to a patient or third party arising from a clinician's reliance on information in the Service;
  • regulatory, professional, or disciplinary consequence to the user;

whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or any other legal theory, and whether or not H Solutions has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, H Solutions' aggregate liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of one hundred Saudi riyals (SAR 100) or the amount you have paid H Solutions for use of the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

§ 11

Indemnity.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless H Solutions and its representatives against any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the Service in breach of these terms;
  • your reliance on the Service in clinical practice;
  • any patient or third-party claim that you owe a duty of care for which you consulted the Service;
  • your violation of any applicable law or any right of a third party.
§ 12

Suspension & termination.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we reasonably consider that you have breached these terms or that your continued use presents a risk to other users, to a patient, or to the integrity of the Service. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Service from your devices.

Provisions of these terms which by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — shall continue to apply.

§ 13

Changes to the Service & these terms.

The clinical content, sections, calculators, and visual design of the Service are revised on an ongoing basis. We may add, modify, or remove features without prior notice. Reference summaries are updated when the underlying source updates.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at odontohamad.com/terms.html with an effective-date stamp at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

§ 14

Governing law & disputes.

These terms are governed by, and shall be interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The competent courts of the city of Riyadh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to the Service or these terms.

If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be replaced by an enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
